- Request purchase of the following four types of gases as follows: Propellant Hydrogen Gas, Type I, estimated quantity 3,072,000 cubic feet; Propellant Grade B Liquid Nitrogen, Type II, estimated quantity 192,000 cubic feet; Propylene, estimated quantity 480,000 cubic feet and Propellant Liquid Oxygen, Grade A, estimated quantity 1,248,000 cubic feet, Propane, estimated quantity 480,000 cubic feet. Provide a lease and purchase price for the following equipment. Two (2) Cradles and 24 Tanks; Five (5) Liquid Nitrogen Cylinders ?4500 cu. ft. size; Eight (8) Propylene Cylinders; Eleven (11) Liquid Oxygen Cylinders and Eight (8) Propane Cylinders. Delivery on an "As Called" Basis to Robins AFB GA. This acquisition is set aside 100% to small businesses. Contractor must be able to deliver within 8 hours. Vendors must be licensed, certified and approved for use at Robins AFB GA with the Hazmat/EM Facility. For approval contact Cathy Gill at (478) 926-3247 or fax (478) 926-3340. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being required and a written solicitation will not be issued. The following clauses are applicable to subject solicitation: FAR 52.212-1 (Instructions to Offerors), 52.212-2 (Evaluation-Commercial Items), 52.212-3 (Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items), 52.212-4 (Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders ? Commercial Items). IAW Clause 52.212-2, the evaluation factors shall be: Price and Price related factors, All or None. Written procedures will be used for this solicitation. Quotations may be faxed to (478) 926-3590. The approximate issue/response date is 31 Oct 03. The anticipated award will be 03 Nov 03. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. All contractors have to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be considered for a government award.
