- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for transportation bus service prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested; a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement covers three (3) contract line items, which is for transportation service for the period of November 10 through 23, 2003. All responses to this solicitation/Request for proposal must make reference to the Solicitation Number FA2816-04-T-0001 and be submitted by COB 04 Nov 03. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-09. This solicitation is a 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification is 485991. The size standard is $6 million. The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating is: UNRATED. Items to be Procured: CLIN 0001 ?CENTENNIAL OF FLIGHT?: QTY: 1 - Unit of issue: JOB. TUESDAY NOVEMBER 18: No Transportation Required. WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 19: ? Up to 50 passengers bussed from LAX to Downtown Los Angeles Hotel - Various times throughout the day (many pickups/drop-offs) ? 500 passengers bussed from LAX to Downtown Los Angeles Hotel - Time TBD (one pickup/drop-off).
