Description

NA The Great Plains Regional Contracting Office, Fort Sam Houston, TX, announces its intentions to award on a sole source basis under the authoirity of FAR 6.302-1 for a base year (1 November 2003 thru 30 September 2004) and 3 option years to Data Ohmeda, 303 0 Ohmeda Drive, Madison, WI 53707, for repair/calibration, and exchange of equipment IAW manufacturer's specifications on the following equipment: CLIN 0001, Eleven (11) Anesthesia Machines, Model II+ and Excell SE; CLIN 0002, eleven (11) ventilators, mode ls 7810 and 7900; CLIN 0003, twelve (12) Isotec Vaporizers, model Tec 4; CLIN 0004, nine (9) Sevotec Vaporizers, model Tec 5; and CLIN 0005, twelve Tec 6 Vaporizers, model Tec 6. The only known source that can provide the necessary parts, modification, a nd upgrades due to patents is Data Ohmeda. The Government anticipates a fixed price contract. This action is being issued under the authority of FAR Part 13.5 utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Commercial/Items Service under FAR Part 12. Interested parties may identify their capability to respond to this requirement. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 811219 with size standard of $6,000.000.
