- Description
- Project consists of the construction of a 700 foot wide spillway in a levee along the Mississippi River. The spillway will be constructed using articulated concrete block revetment mats and riprap with a concrete cutoff wall. The work includes clearing and grubbing, stripping of topsoil, excavation, grading, placing of articulated concrete block revetment mats and riprap, and turf replacement. The estimated magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This procurement is issued unrestricted under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, Public Law 100-656, and is NOT set-aside exclusively for small business concerns. For information purposes, the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 234990, Other Heavy Construction, with a size standard of $28.5 million. Solicitation packages will be available free of charge approximately 11/12/2003 with bid opening occurring on or about 12/12/2003.
