Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to contract with McDonnell Douglas Corporation to procure seventy-five (75) Common Preamplifiers, part number 2680576G002, that meet the requirements of the DECM Common Preamplifier Procurement Specification, PS74-870330. The authority to permit other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. McDonnell Douglas is the designer and developer of the F/A-18 E/F aircraft and the only source with the required technical expertise, and proprietary data and tooling required to meet the Government?s needs. No government furnished equipment shall be provided to support this effort. NAVAIR synopsis number 20104-03.
