- The Regional Contracting Department, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii intends to award a small business set-aside contract. Solicitation N00604-04-T-A057. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the acquisition of commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this announcement. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; WRITTEN PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUIRED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION will not be issued. Proposals must include a completed Representations and Certifications (FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items and DFARS 252.212-7000 Offeror Representation and Certifications ? Commercial Items. All prospective quoters are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of amendments (if any) or other information pertaining to this solicitation. Al l responsible sources may submit a quotation in response to this synopsis, which shall be considered. This synopsis/solicitation is being issued as a Request For Quotations (RFQ), for a Firm Fixed Price type contract incorporating provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisitions Circular 2001-17 and DFARS Change Notice 20031010. The Regional Contracting Department, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii intends to award a firm fixed price contract for the following: ITEM 0001 - One (1) each HD-6000 Degausser; Part# 950-0000; 120 Volts, 60 Hz. Chamber must accommodate all disk drives to 3.5 in. (89 mm) high by 6 in. (152 mm) wide by 10 in. (245 mm) deep. Effective degaussing field must be 6 in. (152 mm) square by 3.5 in. (89 mm) high. Degausser must meet DoD specifications for purging classified/sensitive information from tape media up to 2500 Oersteds (Oe) including 8mm, 4mm, a nd DLT tapes. Degausser must also meet DoD specifications for purging classified/sensitive information from hard disk media up to 3000 Oersteds (Oe) including zip disks, jazz disks, one-third, one-half, and full-height hard drives without removing the disk platters. This includes, but is not limited to the following: DLT Tape Instrument, 1700 Oe; DLT Tape Computer, 1700 Oe; COMPAC III Tape Instrument, 1700 Oe; COMPAC III Tape Computer, 1700 Oe; COMPAC IV Tape Instrument, 1700 Oe; COMPAC IV Tape Computer, 1700 Oe; TK 85 Tape Computer, 1700 Oe; 4MM (DAT) Tape Computer, 1650 Oe; 4MM (DAT) Tape Instrument, 1650 Oe; Zip, 5AZ; 3MLS-120 Disk Computer, 1500 Oe; CONNER CFS1275A Disk Computer, 1600 Oe; CONNER CFS635A Disk Computer, 1600 Oe; CONNER CFA540A Disk Computer, 1600 Oe; CONNER CFS541A Disk Computer, 2100 Oe; CONNER CFS1621A Disk Computer, 2100 Oe. Degausser must be listed in the National Security Agency (NSA) Approved Degausser Products List (DPL) as meeting these requirements. ITEM 0002 ? One (1) year Maintenance Agreement for the Degausser. ITEM 0003 ? Two (2) Six Month Certifications for the Degausser. Quote is to be FOB Destination, Wahiawa, Hawaii 96786. Offeror to propose best delivery schedule. The FSC code is 7490. The NAICS code and the small business size standard for this procurement is 335999 and 500 employees respectively. All qualified responsible business sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database (CCR) to be eligible for Department of Defense Contract awards. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror/quoter INELIGIBLE FOR AWARD. Please ensure compliance with this regulation when submitting your q uote.
