- Description
- Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Annex proposes to contract for machine coolant services for 179 (+/- 10%) pieces of Industrial Plant Equipment located at Norfolk Naval Shipyard. The service will consist of two (2) phases: Phase I (One time job)- Removal of old coolant, cleaning of machine internals associated with the coolant and recharging of the machine with virgin coolant (HOCUT 795); Phase II (Base year w/4, one year options) - Continual maintenance of the machine coolant. This requirement is being procured utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures as set forth in FAR Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items, with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. A firm fixed-price contract is anticipated. The closing date and time for receipt of offers will be established in the solicitation. The applicable NAICS code is 562991 with a small business dollar threshold of $6M. IMPORTANT NOTICE: DFAR 252.204-7004 Required Central Registration (CCR) applies. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Information regarding CCR may be found at www.ccr.gov.
