- Description
- This project consists of thinning trees to a variable spacing and stand improvement activities to reduce the tree density. Approximately 1800 acres will be thinned. There will be 9 bid items. Bid item #1 is located on the Powell Ranger District. Bid Items 2,3,4,5,9 are located on the Cedar City Ranger District. Bid Item 8 is located on the Escalante Ranger District. Bid items 6 & 7 are not part of this synopsis. There will be a show me trip on November 13-14, 2003 at 9:00 a.m. both days. Interested bidders are to meet at the Cedar Ranger District,1789 Wedgewood, Cedar City, Utah on November 13, and at the Escalante Ranger District,755 West Main,in Escalante, Utah on November 14, 2003. Draft maps will be issued at the show-me trip. Call Phil Einsenhower at 435-865-3200 if you plan on attending. Solicitation for this project will be issued approximately Dec 1,2003.
