Description

The National Institute of Diabetes, and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, National Institutes of Health, intends to negotiate an extension of 18 3/4 months for the United States Renal Data System - Special Studies Center - Economics(USRDS- SSC-Economics) contract with the Minneapolis Medical Research Foundation. This modification will extend the ending of the period of performance of subject contract from April 9, 2005 to October 29, 2006 to synchronize the completion of all the USRDS contracts (the Coordination Center and the four Special Studies Centers). The USRDS-SSC-Economics is tasked under subject contract to perform the planned Comprehensive Dialysis Study (CDS)and other special data studies with national and regional samples obtained from the USRDS Coordinating Center, and existing data from the USRDS database. In order to complete the CDS, which is being conducted jointly by the Coordinating Center and the four Special Studies Centers, the periods of performance must coincide for all the USRDS centers. This extension will be negotiated under the authority of the FAR Clause 52.243-2 Changes ? Cost Reimbursement, Alternate V. Note 22.
