- Description
- Furnish all labor, tools, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to construct "Animal Research Building Addition". Work includes general construction, alterations, mechanical and electrical work, necessary removal of existing construction and certain other items as required by the specifications and drawings. The NAICS code is 236220/size standard is $28.5 million. Cost range is $100,000-$250,000. Solicitation issue date will be O/A 11/14/03. Bid Date, is scheduled for 12/17/03, at 3:00PM local time. A pre-bid conference is scheduled for 12/03/03, at 2:00 PM local time in Building T-6 conference room, at the VA Medical Center, 1601 SW Arched Rd., Gainesville, FL. THIS SOLICITATION IS A TOTAL HUB-ZONE SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. BIDS WILL ONLY BE CONSIDERED FROM SMALL BUSINESSES THAT APPEAR ON THE LIST OF QUALIFIED HUBZONE SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS MAINTAINED BY THE SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, (see numbered note 27) Reference FAR 52.219-3. http://www.pro-net.sba.gov/. Award is subject to availability of funds. Hard copies of solicitation will not be available. Electronic solicitations may be obtained FREE at the following URL:http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Drawings will be available electronically with the solicitation or can be requested in writing from the Contracting Officer. TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will also be available at the URL address. Bidders are advised that they are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging amendments to the solicitation.
