Description

NA Federal Supply Class (FSC) 6810, North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 424690, Aluminum Powder, Spherical, Specification MIL-PRF-23950B Type IV or WS-23150 Type IV. Firm fixed price requirements type contract with a minimum of 0 pound s and a maximum quantity of 1,483,800 pounds. The contractor is required to pick up and refuse/dispose of all empty 55 gallon drums delivered during the contract period of performance. The Government has the right to award the full maximum quantity at on e time or in various quantities over a one-year period. FOB destination, McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, McAlester, OK, approximate issue date for this solicitation is 21 November 2003 with a closing date approximately 30 days after issuance. The solici tation can be obtained at one of the following websites: Fed Biz Ops at http://www.fedbizopps.gov or Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. It will be the responsibility of the contractors to check these websites for the issuance and any changes to the solicitation. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be distributed. Copies of any applicable military specifications may be obtained from the ASSIST website at http://assist.daps.mil. Only qualified vendors on the verified vendor list for this item will be considered for award. Instructions will be in the solicitation on how a vendor can become qualified, however, this acquisition will not be delayed in order to provide an offeror with an opportunity to meet the standards specified for qualification.
