- The Marine Corps Logistics Base (MCLB), Barstow, CA, Contracting and Purchasing Division, requests bids (all or none) to provide the minimum requirements. (221210) PROPANE - BULK, 41 EACH MISCELLANEOUS SIZED PROPANE TANKS AS LISTED ON STATEMENT OF WORK; TRAINING, AS REQUIRED, TO INSTRUCT BASE PERSONNEL ON PUMPING PROCEDURES; ALL LABOR, EQUIPMENT, TRANSPORTATION, SUPPLIES AND MATERIALS. Base plus four option years. Period of performance: 01 Oct to 30 Sep for each year. Estimated first year usage is 45,000 gallons. Propane tanks to be located at various locations aboard the Base. This solicitation is a set-aside for small business concerns within two hours driving distance of Marine Corps Logistics Base, Barstow, CA. Delivery and installation of the tanks must be complete within 21 days of award. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepare d in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Responses may be hand carried or delivered by carrier to Contracting & Purchasing, Warehouse 8, Door 14A, Marine Corps Logistics Base, Barstow, CA during office hours: 6:30 - 4:30 Monday Through Thursday, 6:30 - 3:30 Friday. Mailed responses may be sent to Commanding Officer, Contracting & Purchasing, P. O. Box 110340, Barstow, CA 92311. Deadline for response is 4:30 PM PST on 30 Sep 2003.
