Description

NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared under the authority of FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items and in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in thi s notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The combined synopsis/solicitation number is W91CRB-04-T-0005. Requirement is for UH-1 Inertia Reel Kits for the Go vernment of Greece. CLIN 0001, 165 EA, Reel Kit, Inertia, NSN 1680-01-474-6552, P/N 204-011-400-11. NOTE: Proposed equipment must be new. To be considered for award, offerors must certify that the equipment being proposed is new and conforms to OEM stan dards/specifications. Inspection and acceptance shall be at source, by the cognizant DCMA office. This is a Foreign Military Sales Requirement; purchase request BGRA5Z3281E702. FMS Case GR-B-BDH. Delivery terms are F.O.B. Destination. Awardee shall shi p material to East Rockaway, NY 11518-1235. Exact shipping address will be provided with order. Offerors shall provide a delivery schedule with their proposal. Partial shipments are acceptable, however, shipments shall be as consolidated as possible to avoid items being lost in transit. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2 applies to this acquisition. Offers will be evaluated based on price and delivery schedule. While price is more important than delivery, award will be made to the offeror that provides the best delivery schedule for the best price. A completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items, must be prov ided with offers. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items, applies to t his acquisition.
