- Description
- This is a pre-solicitation notice. This acquisition is for an Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity contract for maintenance of swimming pools located at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Miramar, California. The solicitation will be issued under the authority of FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items using simplified acquisition procedures. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity contract for a base year period of 12 months, with a four 1-year option periods. This procurement is set aside for small business. However, all responsible sources may submit a quotation for consideration. The applicable NAICS code is 56179 with a size standard of $6.0 million. The Government intends to make a single award to the responsible offeror whose offer is the most advantageous to the Government considering price and other fa ctors. A solicitation will be issued on or about 17 Nov 2003. The solicitation will be posted on the Electronic Posting System (EPS) on or about 17 Nov 2003 with a closing date of 17 Dec 2003 and can be accessed at www.eps.gov. NOTE: The solicitation issuance date is an estimate, not an actual, and the actual can be before or after the stated date. All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for contract award. Registration may take up to 3 weeks to complete, so we recommend immediate attention to ensure eligibility. For registration, go to http://www.ccr2000.com and follow the instructions. NOTE: The response date cited above does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any bid preparation costs.
