- U.S. Government Seeks Space to Lease U.S. Coast Guard Marine Safety Security Team San Diego, CA Project No. 3CA0526 Summary Requirements: The General Services Administration desires to lease Class A office and storage space containing approximately 20,000 usable square feet for the U.S. Coast Guard Marine Safety Security Team to house personnel, furnishings, armory, and equipment, together with adequate parking including seventy (70) secured parking spaces. Twenty-four (24) hour access is required for boat ramp as well. Dock space/boat ramp need and can located within ? mile from lease location. Building Requirements: Building must be of sound and substantial construction. The requested space must be fully serviced, and in a building capable of being altered to meet the Government?s needs and security requirements as well as requirements under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Space must able be able to accommodate armory space. Location/Delineated Area: The space offered must be located within the City of San Diego?s North Bay (North of the Coronado Bridge along the shore to Shelter Island), within .5 (1/2) miles of shoreline. Lease Term: The term is for ten (10) years, five (5) years firm. Occupancy Date: Occupancy is planned for no later than June 2004 Expressions of Interest Should Include the Following: ? Building/Lot name and address ? Rentable square feet, and rate per rentable square foot ? Method of measurement used to determine rentable square feet ? Common area factor for space Owners and Authorized Agents: Brokers and/or agents may represent prospective landlords, but any properties or proposals submitted by the brokers/agents must be accompanied by written evidence they are authorized to represent the owner of the building or lot.
