Description
NA NOUN: FAIRING, FUSELAGE, AI; NSN: 1560-01-165-5551, P/N: 70215-42402-043, Quantity: 139 each, applicable to the UH-60 Aircraft. Approved source is Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., 6900 Main St., Stratford, CT 06615-9129, (CAGE 78286). F.O.B. Origin with deli very to DEF Dist Depot Red River, Receiving Bldg. 499, 10th Street & K Avenue, Texarkana, TX 75507-5000, XU Transportation Officer, DDSP New Cumberland Facility, Building Mission Door 113 134, New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001, and XU DEF Dist Depot San Joaqui n, Transportation Officer, P.O. Box 960001, Stockton, CA 95296-0130. Required delivery is 139 each, 170 DACA. This part must be acquired for the second or subsequent time, directly from the actual manufacturer. This part requires engineering source appr oval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). T he approved source(s) retain data rights, manufacturing knowledge, or technical data that are not economically available to the Government, and the data or knowledge is essential to maintaining the quality of the part. An alternate source must qualify in accordance with the design control activity's procedures, as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. The qualification procedures must be approved by the Government engineering activity having jurisdiction over the part in the intended application. This acquisition contains data, which is considered critical technology and has been restricted for release outside the United States. This information cannot be released outside the United States without prior approval of the Government. F oreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and m ay be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation, however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above.
