Description

NA THIS IS AN 8(A) COMPETITIVE SET-ASIDE WITHIN SBAs REGION FOUR (4). SUFFICIENT BONDING CAPACITY IS REQUIRED. Construct new collocated Organizational Maintenance Shop (OMS), Direct Support (DS) Maintenance/Warehouse facility and a Heated Unit storage building and Gas Bottled storage building. Buildings are constructed of s tructural steel framing with a standing seam metal roof with reinforced foundations, slab on grade, and masonry walls. Unit Storage building will include administrative offices and large caged warehouse area for storing unit equipment. The OMS will provide the required administrative, tool and parts storage, and shop space to accomplish maintenance for the assigned military equipment. Supporting facilities include lighting, site preparation, site improvements, antiterrorism-force protection, and extension o f utilities to serve the project. Options include a Compressed Gas Storage Building and an Exterior loading ramp. Plans and specifications will be available on or about 21 November 2003. Estimated cost range is between $5M and $10M. This project is availab le on compact disk only. Project specification files are Portable Document Format (PDF) files and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. The drawing files are in CAL format and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Source V iew Reader. Both readers are contained in the solicitation package. Minimum system requirements are: 486- based personal computer, Microsoft Windows 3.1 or greater, 8 MB application RAM, 4 MB hard disk space, and compact disk drive.
