Description

This synopsis provides notice of the Government?s intent to solicit a proposal on a sole source basis with Composite Engineering Inc. 5391 Raley Blvd. Sacramento, CA 95838-1701, for the items listed below. This action is under the authority of FAR Part 13.5. The items are commercial. The Contract Line Item Number and description is: CLIN 0001 4 each G1406-3 6U Ruggedized Case, CLIN 0002 14 each G1408-3 8U Ruggedized Case, CLIN 0003 8 each G1410-3 10U Ruggedized Case, CLIN 0004 5 each G1412-3 12U Ruggedized Case, CLIN 0005 2 each G1413-3 13U Ruggedized Case, and CLIN 0006 10 each G1414-3 14U Ruggedized Case. This ground support will support the Flyaway Broadcast System (FABS) for the Psychological Operations Group. Until system redesign occurs, the equipment storage for FABS must meet form, fit, function, and interface in storage in order to assure interoperability, interchangeability, and provide for communication standardization. Award is expected to be 19 Nov 2003. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, the Government will consider all information received by 18 Nov 2003, 1400 EST. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
