Description
This is an Indefinite Quantity Multi-Trades Construction contract to provide and secure labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, and management necessary to obtain minor construction, repair, and alteration work. The trades will consist of the following: hazardous waste handler, boilermaker, bricklayer, carpenter, cement worker, electrician, equipment operator, glazier, laborer, millwright, mosaic and terrazzo worker, painter, paper hanger, plasterer, plumber, roofer, sheet metal worker, steamfitter, pipe fitter, structural steel worker, tile layer, truck driver and welder. The Government contemplates one contract award resulting from this solicitation. The contract term is for a period of one (1) year. The Government has the option to extend the term of the contract for additional periods of one to twelve months. The total contract term, including the exercise of any options, shall not exceed 36 months. The estimated price range is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The proposed procurement listed herein has been accepted by the Small Business Administration for competition in the 8(a) program. It is being offered for competition ONLY to eligible 8(a) concerns within the geographical area serviced by the SBA Richmond District Office. All other firms are deemed ineligible to submit offers. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 236220 and the size standard is $28,500,000. The (IFB) will be posted on the NAVFACENGCOM Electronic Solicitation (E-Sol) web site on or about 21 November 2003. Estimated bid opening date is 23 December 2003. Interested parties may view and/or download the document at the following web address: http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. Contractors must register on the E-Sol Web prior to downloading the solicitation to ensure notification of any/all changes/additional information related to the solicitation.
