- U.S. GOVERNMENT SEEKS APPROXIMATELY 2,415 RSF OF OFFICE SPACE IN BEAUMONT, TEXAS (SFO#2TX0280) REQUIREMENT: The General Services Administration is interested in leasing approximately 2,415 rentable square feet, which will yield 2,100 BOMA usable square feet of office space. The space will be occupied by Office of Hearing and Appeals. LEASE TERM: Ten (10) Years, five (5) years firm term. LOCATION: Offered properties must be located within the city limits of Beaumont, Texas UNIQUE REQUIREMENTS: The Government requires a fully serviced lease including surface parking for four (4) vehicles. If onsite parking is not available, employee parking facilities must be available within 600 feet (or 2 blocks whichever is less) of the office and must be within commercial rates. All services, supplies, utilities, partitioning and tenant alterations are desired as part of the rental consideration. Space offered must be contiguous and have potential for efficient layout. Space should be located in a professional office setting. If the proposed lease space is on the fifth floor or higher the entire building must be equipped with a sprinkler system. Space shall conform to GSA requirements for fire and life safety; and shall be ADA compliant and asbestos abated. The building and parking must be accessible to government personnel 24 hours per day, seven days per week. EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST MUST BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING NO LATER THAN NOVEMBER 14, 2003 AND SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: 1) Building name and address. 2) Legal description 3) One-eighth inch scale drawing of space offered. 3) Square footage offered. 4) Method of measurement used to determine rentable square feet. 5) Name, address, and telephone number of individual to be contacted. 6) Evidence of authority to represent the owner. AUTHORIZED CONTACTS: In no event shall the Offeror enter into negotiations or discussions concerning the space to be leased with representatives of any Federal Agency other than the officers and employees of General Services Administration (GSA) or their authorized representative.
