Description
The U.S. Special Operations Command intends to acquire commercial services to refurbish, repair, and replenish 61 each Government-furnished MH-47G Fly-Away Equipment Kits. Solicitation H92241-03-R-0006 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). An electronic solicitation is available upon request. The solicitation will be issued on or about 6 Nov 2003. Contact Fred Bischoff at mbischoff@tapo.eustis.army.mil. for an electronic copy. Only requests submitted by email will be honored. This solicitation is unrestricted and provides for full and open competition. The NAICS code is 561990 and the small business size standard is $6.0 million. Offerors shall submit firm fixed-price quotations only. All offers must be submitted electronically to Fred Bischoff at mbischoff@tapo.eustis.army.mil. Award shall be made on a technically acceptable, low offer basis. Evaluation factors are included with the RFP. Each proposal must clearly state how the RFP requirements will be met or exceeded. Offerors must have, or be able to obtain, a Government approved property storeroom. The Government intends to award an indefinite delivery contract with a performance period of one year plus four option years. FOB point is destination. Inspection and acceptance shall be at destination by the Government. DPAS assigned rating is DO-A1. Any award resulting from this RFQ will be issued on a SF 1449 and will incorporate all clauses required by law, the FAR and the DFARS as appropriate.
