- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice constitutes the only solicitation. Price quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, DTCG81-04-Q-3S3007, is issued as an unrestricted Request For Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses and provisions are available via internet address: http://www.arnet.gov/far/. For small business concerns the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 721110 and Small Business Size Standard in dollars is $6.0M. Item Description: Lodging, 42 single-occupancy rooms and 4 double-occupancy rooms. The date of occupancy is from (check in) December 1, 2003 through September 30, 2004. Check out is October 1, 2004. Rooms must be furnished with linens, housekeeping, telephone, cable T.V. services, and parking. The geographic location for consideration is limited to facilities located within 15 minutes driving time from the U S Coast Guard Marine Safety Office located at 2875 Jimmy Johnson Blvd, Port Arthur, TX 77640. Indicate the distance (mileage) from your facility to this location. Include all available amenities, including transportation, if any, at no additional cost, check in and check out times, and cancellation policy. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation and most advantageous to the Government, price and other cost factors considered, AND COMPLIANT WITH THE HOTEL AND MOTEL FIRE SAFETY ACT OF 1990. OFFEROR SHALL INCLUDE ITS FEMA NUMBER, WHICH IS REGISTERED WITH THE U S FIRE ADMINISTRATION. Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Provisions that applies to this RFQ: 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Items (Oct 2000), 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items (Jan 1999), and 52.215-5, Facsimile Proposals (Oct 1997), FAR Clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items (May 2001), which must be completed and submitted with the RFQ, and FAR Clause 52.232-8, Discount for Prompt Payment (May 1997). PLEASE READ, COMPLETE AND PROVIDE ALL INFORMATION IN THIS SOLICITATION PARTICULARLY FAR PROVISION (S) 52.212-1 and 52.212-3. Quotes are due no later than November 13, 2003, local time, 12:00 noon.
