- Description
- The Range Instrumentation System Program Office, Air Armament Center (AAC/WMRR), Eglin AFB Florida, intends to issue a contract to Cubic Defense Applications, Inc for modification of proprietary software residing in training pods and ground systems that are part of the P4RC Program. Cubic Defense Applications is the current P4RC prime contractor, and owns the software to be modified as part of this effort. Cubic Defense Applications was not required to submit a technical data package to the System Program Office, and therefore a data package is not available. The scope of the effort is as follows. The contractor shall modify the existing proprietary software for the Data Merge Device (DMD) section of the Debriefing Ground System (DGS). The contractor shall provide an unclassified removable hard drive that must: fit in the current Squadron Deployable Ground System (SDGS) and Flight Deployable Ground System (FDGS) slots, contain no classified files, be designed for easy, repetitive installation/removal. DGS shall be able to download, merge, and replay data from any combination of up to and including 36 unclassified DRD storage media in sixty (60) minutes. DMD software shall provide Post Mission debriefing displayed (on-screen and text) for each DRD and: Must provide unclassified Pre-mission and Post-mission DRD processing capabilities now provided by the current classified system, software must interface to all P4RC debriefing systems/subsystems currently existing at each location, software shall import, verify, and display filtered (unclassified) DRD files, software must prevent importing, downloading or merging classified DRD files. System must be capable of alarming the operator and must cease processing in the event data other than Time Space Position Information (TSPI) is detected during the merging process. DMD software shall only create a filtered merged mission file. Contractor shall create Windows-based System Operator?s Console (SOC/Mission Preparation data) files. Windows SOC files shall only include data necessary for setting-up/debriefing a mission. Windows SOC files shall minimize the steps that are necessary to set-up/debrief a mission. Windows SOC files shall utilize defaults where possible. The user shall have the capability to modify all default parameters. Windows SOC files shall have the capability to be created, edited, and saved prior to merging with DRD data. Direct all questions and communication concerning this acquisition to Ms. E. Chris Asbill, Contracting Officer, 102 West D. Ave, Ste 373, Eglin AFB, FL 32542, 850-882-9391 Ext 5048. See Numbered Note 22.
