Description

NA Red River Army Depot, Texarkana, Tx 75507, is interested in finding sources for writing Shop Work Instructions (SWI) and Work Station Instructions (WSI). The SWI and WSI will provide instructions for repair of an end item and will, as a minimum, contain procedures for disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, assembly, and testing. Tech Manuals, DMWRs, NMWRs, Engineering Change Proposals and Drawings will be the source documents for technical data and will be furnished by the government. This effort will include writing instructions for five family of vehicles: the Heavy Equipment Mobile Tanker Truck (HEMTT), Bradley Fighting Vehicle System (BFV), Small Emplacement Excavator (SEE), High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV), and the Multiple Launc h Rocket System (MLRS). This effort is part of a market survey and is not a request for quote, request for proposal, or invitation for bid. However, should a solicitation result at a later date, it is anticipated that it will be based on hourly rates, so e stimated hourly rates for these writing services (to be used in formulating a rough order of magnitude (ROM)) may be furnished when responding to this notice.
