Description

NA Project consists of a 16-station Modified Record Firing Range for the M-16 weapon and several ancillary facilities. The range provided targets at 50, 75, 100, 150, 175, 200, 250, and 300 meters from the firing positions. Ranges are standardized and are e quipped with modernized target systems. The supporting facilities consist of an observation/control tower, an ammo dispensing building, firing positions, target emplacements, a organizational classroom building, a covered training bleacher area, a cadre o ffice building/maintenance building, two latrines, and a covered mess facility. The entrance road and roadway adjacent to the range is paved asphalt. Site utilities are limited to electricity. Estimated cost range of this project is $1,000,000 to $5,000 ,000. Plans and specifications will be available on/or about November 18, 2003, and will be provided on Compact Disk (CD-ROM). THE NUMBER OF CD-ROMS WILL BE LIMITED TO ONE (1) PER FIRM. Plans, specifications, and planholders lists will not be provided i n a printed hard copy format.
