NA CORRECTION TO SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE SENT 03 NOV 2003 AS W911KB-04-R-NA. DRAFT SOLICITATION NUMBER SHOULD BE W911KB-04-R-0001. Re-sending entire Contractor Information: This announcement is open to all businesses regardless of size. If a large business is selected for this contract it must comply with FAR 52.219-9 regarding the requirement for a subcontracting plan for that part of the work it intends to subcontract. A Source Sought/Information DRAFT RFP will be available on the US Army Corps of Engineers EBS website http://www.poa.usace.army.mil/contracting/default.asp. The U.S. Army Corp of Engineer District is requesting comments on the performance based statement of work for the dredging of the Anchorage Harbor. All comments will be due on 21 Nov 03. In addition, A PRE-SOLICITATION CONFERENCE WILL BE HELD ON 4 DEC 03 AT THE U.S. ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS, SEATTLE DISTRICT, 4735 EAST MARGINAL WAY SOUTH, SEATTLE, WASHINGTON 98134-2329. The requirements are to maintain the harbor at -38 feet MLLW. Recen t dredged quantities have ranged from 600,000 to 1,700,000 cubic yards per year with daily shoaling rates ranging from 3,000 cubic yards per day to 19,000 cubic yards per day at the Port of Anchorage, Alaska. The Contractor is to furnish all labor, equipm ent, supplies, materials, supervision and other items and services necessary to accomplish the work. The contract will be one base year and one option year. Type of contract is firm-fixed price.
