Job description: TULARE LAKEBED MITGATION SITE - WORK INVOLVES CONSTRUCTION OF SEVERAL THOUSAND LINE AR FEET OF EARTHEN BERMS TO DIVIDE A 1,200 ACRE SITE INTO THREE SEPARATE WATER RE TENTION BASINS. TYPE OF AWARD: This (IFB) is an 8 (a) Competitive requirement, open to all 8(a??????s) in the California and Nevada SBA district. All BIDS are due in not late r than 12 November 2003 at 1:00 PM. All offers shall be in the English langu age and in US dollars. This Procurement will be conducted under FSC Code: Y219, SIC Code: 1629, NAICS Code: 237990. The size standard for this code is $28.5 MILLION. ORDERING SOLICITATION: The solicitation for this project will be available on the Sacramento District Contracti ng Divisions Internet Home Page for downloading. Any future amendments to the solicitation will also be available for download from this web site. Requests for copies of this solicitation in any other format than what is advertised will be disregarded. It is important that you first go to the Contracting Division Home Page at http://ebs.spk.usace.army.mil and register as a plan holder. Click on (Sacramento/DACW05), this takes you the page that shows all of the projects currently being advertised for the (Sa cramento) District. Look for the Solicitation/Request for Quote that you are interested in and click on it. In order to receive notification of any amendments to the solicitation, you are required to register for the plan holders list. Look for the blue ba r that says, Solicitation Registration. Right below is a red bar t hat reads, Register for this Solicitation, ?????? click on it. The next page requires you to establish a user name and password. If you have previously accessed the web page, you can gain a ccess by entering your User Name and Password. If this is your f irst time, establish a user name and password. Keep the user name and password and share it with anyone else in your organization that is responsible for registering your firm on our plan hol ders lists. With our new system, you only have to do the full r egistration one time. Please complete all requested information. The solicitation will be available for download on or about (date 12 November 2003). To download the solicitation, go to http:/ /ebs.spk.usace.army.mil. Click on (Sacramento/DACW05), and t hen click on the desired Solicitation Number. Along the bottom of the page, there is a bar that says Download/View Solicitation Files. Select Specifications from the drop down box and press the r ed Go button. On the next page; under the blue bar that re ads Specifications, there is another section titled, File Name.
