- Description
- An anticipated solicitation for air conditioning and heating filters for one (1) base year at Marine Corps Air Station, Yuma, AZ. The filters are varied sizes and are to be provided as industry standard nominal dimensions, have specific construction criteria, the quantities are estimates and delivery is required within three weeks of the issued order. This procurement is being conducted under Far Parts 12 and 13. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27 and DAC 97-13. A single award will result from the solicitation. The procurement is 100% small business set-aside. It is anticipated the solicitation will be posted 7 November 2003. The closing date of the solicitation is anticipated to be 24 November 2003. Quotations will be requested and a written solicitation will be issued. The Gov ernment will award a contract resulting from the solicitation to the responsible quoter whose quote conforms to the solicitation as most advantageous to the Government, best value considering price and past performance. To be eligible for award Contractors must be properly registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Award will not be made to contractors who are not CCR registered. Information regarding CCR registration may be obtained by accessing the website at http://www.ccr.gov. Contractors wishing to respond to the posted solicitation, anticipated 7 November 2003, may obtain the solicitation by accessing websites www.neco.navy.mil or www.eps.gov, fax their request to (928) 269-2287 or telephone their request to(928) 269-2470. It is recommended that fax and telephone requests be followed-up telephonically if the solicitation is not provided within one (1) w orkday from the request. The complete original quote shall be submitted if requested by the Contracting Officer. Quoters bear the burden of ensuring that quotes (and any other authorized modifications) reach the designated office on time and should allow a reasonable time for facsimile quotes to be completed. All pages of the quote must reach the office before the deadline which will be specified in the solicitation. Pages of a facsimile transmission that arrive in the office after the specified deadline will not be considered. The quoter bears the risk of non-receipt of facsimile transmissions and should confirm by telephone that any facsimile was received. The Government reserves the right to make award solely on the quote.
