Description

CBD Notice posted on October 29, 2003 is hereby amended to reflect a change in the NAIC Code; the small business size standard and to revised the CD ROM purchase requirements. Chiller, HVAC Renovation and Window System Improvement at the Home Owners Loan Corporation (HOLC) Building, located at 320 First Street NW, Washington, DC. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded for the services. The estimated cost range for the project is more than $10,000,000.00. This solicitation is not set-aside for small businesses. However, this procurement is being made under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Women-Owned businesses are encouraged to submit a bid and so state that they are women-owned. The NAIC Code for this procurement is 236220 and the small business size standard is $27.5 million. The solicitation issuance date is November 12, 2003; and the solicitation due date is December 12, 2003. GSA is issuing this solicitation electronically and on CD-ROM. You may access the solicitation documents at the Federal Business Opportunities Web Site Home Page: http://www.eps.gov. However the construction project drawings will be available on CD-ROM only. Potential Bidders may purchase a CD-ROM copy of the construction project drawings at the General Services Administration, National Capital Region, Regional Office Building, Bid Room, Room 1065, 7th & D Streets, SW, Washington, DC 20407, at a non-refundable cost of $10.00. Payment should be made by check or money order, payable to the General Services Administration. A receipt will be issued for the payment. In order to be placed on the bidder's list, potential bidders who intend to download this solicitation and purchase a CD-ROM must inform the point of contact in writing by mail, email or fax, 202-708-6838 of their company's name, address, telephone and fax numbers.
