Description

ISSUE DATE: 11/19/03. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal necessary to replace two monopole structures at Moriches Inlet Breakwater Lights, U.S. Coast Guard ANT Moriches, Moriches, New York(Suffolk County). The work at each of the sites is as follows: At Moriches Breakwater Light # 1, remove existing monopole structure. Provide approximately 350 tons of rip rap stone in new location for the light. Construct concrete foundation. Fabricate and install new square pipe tower, plus incidental related work to complete the project. At Moriches Breakwater Light # 2, remove existing monopole structure. Construct new concrete foundation in the same location. Fabricate and install new square pipe tower, plus incidental related work to complete the project. At both locations, conduct a third order, Class I geodetic survey of the as built positions of each new tower. The estimated cost of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000 dollars. Solicitation packages will be available on or about 11/19/03. The date for receipt of bids is scheduled for 12/19/03 at 2:00 p.m. This solicitation is issued in accordance with FAR Part 19, and is 100% set-aside for small business. The applicable NAICS code is 237990 and the size standard is $28.5 million. Our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Any amendments issued to the solicitation will be posted solely on this web site. Bidders are required to verify the number of amendments issued with the Contracting Officer prior to bid opening date. Companies not having the capability to download solicitation documents may contact Rhode Island Blueprint, 335 Webster Avenue, Cranston, RI 02920 for a copy of the solicitation package for a non-refundable deposit.
