Description

This is notice of intent to negotiate sole source procurement with TA Instruments, Waters LLC and is for informational purposes only. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) number is 334516 and the business size standard is 500 employees. The proposed acquisition LINE ITEM 0001 Differential Scanning Calorimeter Module Upgrade with the following item description: ITEM DESCRIPTION: This requisition is an upgrade to the Differential Scanning Calorimeter Module - Model Q100. The upgrade must be compatible to the current system. Listed are the components of the upgrade: TA5000 Advantage Software Suite; GPIB communications card (PCI); 12 port Ethernet communications hub, Ethernet cable; Multiple Control Option For TA5000; 2X00 Series System Key; Q Series System Key; Q100 Modulated Differential Scanning Calorimeter with Mass Flow Control; Refrigerated Cooling System (RCS); Q500 Thermogravimetric Analyzer with High Resolution and Modulation Modes. Installation must be provided and will include calibration with a traceable standard and a certificate of calibration. Training must be provided on the equipment after it is installed in laboratory. Must include one year warranty. Any responses are due by 1200 noon, MDT, 6 November 2003.
