- NA Fort Bragg Directorate of Contracting, Fort Bragg, North Carolina has a requirement to provide Educational Services for the Soldier Development Program for the period of 1 January through 31 December 2004 to include 4 one-year option periods. Service shal l include job-related skills and leadership skill enhancement courses to assist in unit readiness, cross training and support readiness, in preparation for the Non-Commissioned Officer Enlisted System (NCOES). Contractor is to provide all personnel, equip ment, tools, materials, supervision, supplies and other items and services necessary for two specific programs: Basic Skills Education Program (BSEP) and the Leader Skill Enhancement Course (LSEC) program. BSEP??????s purposes are to promote retention, i ncrease re-enlistment options and improve job performance. LSEC courses support readiness and training beyond the fundamental level and are based on nine leadership competencies. The LSEC courses consist of Automated Inventory Control (ULLS for Operators and ULLS for Supervisors); Effective Writing, Counseling Skills & Human Relations, Management & Supervision, Keyboarding, Computer Fundamentals, Microsoft Access 2000, Microsoft Excel 2000, Microsoft PowerPoint 2000, Microsoft Word 2000, Maintenance Manag ement; Automated Inventory System ?????? Logistics (ULLS-S4), Facilitator Training, and Standard Army Training System (SATS). Contractor is required to be accredited by one of the following nationally recognized institutions: American Association of Bibl e Colleges; Association of Independent Schools and Colleges; Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools; New England Association of Schools and Colleges; North Central Association of Colleges and Schools; North West Association of Schools and Colleg es; Southern Association of Colleges and Schools; or Western Association of Schools and Colleges. The Government contemplates award of a Fixed Price Requirements type contract resulting from this solicitation. The date for receipt of offers is estimated. The solicitation will contain a firm closing date. It is the Government??????s intent to issue the solicitation and amendments, if any, electronically via the Internet. Upon release to the public, the solicitation will be available for download at webs ite http://www.bragg.army.mil/www-doc/Contractors/solicit.htm. The solicitation will not be available in hard copy. For determining business size on this project, the applicable North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code is 611210/$6 million.
