Description

This project consists of the design and construction of a new two lane, steel truss, timber deck road bridge, about 120' in length. Work includes the Historical American Engineering Record (HAER) documentation and then removal of the existing steel truss bridge, design (including approaches, substructure and superstructure, which may be pre-fab), clearing, excavation & embankment, concrete, retaining walls, bridge installation, railing, crushed base asphalt, seeding and other associated work. In-stream work is limited to July 15th to October 31st and road closure will be limited to September 7, 2004 to October 31, 2004. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about August 2003, estimated start work date is October 1, 2003. Contract work time is approx 430 days.
