Description: Modification to a Previous Notice: This is an informational synopsis only. The 3rd Contracting Squadron, Elmendorf AFB AK, intends to award a sole source contract for Mess Attendant Services at Elmendorf AFB, AK to a National Industries of the Severely Handicapped (NISH) a nonprofit agency. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-5(a)(2), full and open competition need not be provided when qualified nonprofit agencies for the blind of severely handicapped exist. The period of performance will be the basic period (1 Apr 04 ? 30 Sep 04) with four one-year options. NAICS Code 722310 with a size standard of $17,500,000 applies.
