- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Although this is a combined synopsis/solicitation, please refer to the hard copy solicitation available on the Gateway at http://progate.dla.mil/. You must submit your proposal on the hard copy solicitation. From the Gateway homepage, left-hand sidebar, select ?Search RFPs.? Then choose the RFP you wish to download. RFPs are in portable document format (PDF). To download and view these documents you will need the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. This software is available free at http://www.adobe.com. A paper copy of the solicitation will not be available to requestors. The solicitation issue date is 11/14/2003. Closing Date is 12/15/2003. The solicitation SP0450-04-R-0687 is issued as a request for proposal (RFP) for an Indefinite Quantity Contract for a base year and four one-year option periods. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAR. This procurement is unrestricted. This procurement includes an Economic Price Adjustment Clause. Five NSNs are being procured. Delivery will be FOB Destination with with Inspection/Acceptance at Destination for NSNs 6850-00-926-8885, 9150-00-735-1800, and 9150-01-014-5402 and FOB Destination with Inspection/Acceptance Origin for NSNs 9150-01-228-3389 and 9150-01-031-7238. Deliveries will be to stock locations SRG Richmond VA or AQ5 Tracy CA. NSN 6850-00-926-8885 has an Estimated Annual Demand (EAD) qty of 125 for the base year and 100 for the option years. Requested delivery is 34 days aro. NSN 9150-00-735-1800 has an EAD qty of 2190 for the base year and 824 for the option years. Requested delivery is 43 days aro. NSN 9150-01-014-5402 has an EAD qty of 55 for the base year and 44 for the option years. Requested delivery is 47 days aro. NSN 9150-01-228-3389 has an EAD of 962 for the base year and 240 for the option year. Requested delivery is 30 days aro. NSN 9150-01-031-7238 has an EAD qty of 460 for the base year and 344 for the option year. Requested delivery is 36 days aro. NSN 9150-01-031-7238 Lubricating Oil, Molybdenum Disulfide, Dow Corning Co Cage 71984 P/N Dow Corning G-N Metal Assembly Spray Unit 16 oz aerosol can contains 11 oz net wt. DOT Class: Flammable Gas, Shipping Name: Compressed Gas, NOS (Propane, Isobutane) Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. Other than Full and Open (10 USC 2304 (c )(1) (FAR 6.302-1). Only One Source (Note 22) Intended Source: Dow Corning Cage 71984. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Unrestricted. Sole Source (FAR 6.302) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items applies and evaluation of offers will be in accordance with Section M of the solicitation. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
