Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue an Order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-03-G-0004 with McDonnell Douglas Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, P O Box 516, St. Louis, MO 62166-0516, to provide the engineering services of data analysis, documentation and reporting for aerodynamic database assessments and updated and Simulation Working Group (SWG) activities on the F/A-18 E/F aircraft. Boeing is the designer, developer and sole manufacturer of the USN F/A-18 C/D and E/F Aircraft and as such, is the only known firm possessing adequate existing knowledge, facilities, tooling, and special test equipment to provide the engineering services requirement in a timely manner. This synopsis is for information purposes only. See Numbered Note 22.
