Description

NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation# W912R1-04-T-0001 is issued as a request for proposal. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2 001-17. This solicitation is set aside for all responsible small business sources. It is advertised with a North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 488119 and business size of $10.5M in annual receipts. The government intends to award a firm fix ed price contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). Description of Services is as follows: Aircraft Deicing Fluid Recovery for the 201st Airlift Squadron, Navy Air Operations, and the 459th Air Refueling Wing. The location of services is Andr ews Air Force Base, Maryland. A more detailed description of the contractual requirements is contained in the Statement of Work. The type of contract is a firm fixed price contract with one base year and one option year. The performance period is 1 Dec 03 through 30 Apr 04 for the base year and 15 Nov 04 through 15 Apr 05 for option year one. The following provisions/clauses are hereby incorporated into the subject solicitation: FAR 52.212-1, FAR 52.212-2, FAR 52.212-3 and FAR 52.219-1. Both clauses in bold shall be completed in their entirety and returned with your proposal. FAR 52.212-4, FAR 52.212-5 with the following provisions/clauses checked are also incorporated: FAR 52.219-8, FAR 52.219-14, FAR 52.222-21, FAR 52.222-26, FAR 52.222-35, FAR 52.22 2-36, FAR 52.222-37, FAR 52.232-33, FAR 52.222-41, and FAR 52.222-42, DFARS 252.212-7001 with the following provisions/clauses checked: DFARS 252.204-7004. DFARS 252.225-7001 is also included in the subject solicitation. FAR 52.217-8, FAR 52.217-9, and FA R 52.252-2 are also incorporated. All clauses and provisions may be viewed electronically at http://farsite.hill.af.mil. FAR 52.222-42 reads as follows: Employee Class: WG-09 for the employee classification and $11.79 for the monetary wage. Service Cont ract Act Wage Determination Number 94-2103 Revision 30 is hereby incorporated into the subject solicitation. A site visit is scheduled for the 14th of November 2003 at 1:30 P.M. All interested parties shall RSVP to steven.slagle@dcandr.ang.af.mil prior t o the close of business on the 13th of November 2003. The closing date for submission of proposals is the 21st of November 2003 at 3:00 P.M. eastern standard time via email at steven.slagle@dcandr.ang.af.mil. Proposals may also be mailed to: 113th MSG/MS C, Attn-Contracting Office Ref: Glycol Recovery Services Proposal, 3252 E. Perimeter Road Room 217, Andrews AFB, MD 20762-5011 or faxed to (301) 735-4057. The written proposal is due no later than the 21st of November 2003. All responsible small busines s concerns may submit a proposal, which shall be considered. All offerors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database prior to contract award.
