Description

NA This is a notice of intent to conduct a sole source acquisition for a commercial item, to be awarded to John O. Koenig. This is a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Description is as follows: Non-personal services. This propose d procurement involves maintaining the existing Willamette Network Controller (WNC) based Hydromet system and maintaining the new Sutron Data Collection Platform (DCP) based Hydromet system during the final phase of installation and after completion. The maintenance services to be provided will include maintenance personnel, maintenance equipment, test and diagnostic equipment and programs, and an inventory list of spare parts. This notice of intent is NOT a request for quotations. Interested parties that believe they can meet these needs must supply information about their capabilities no later than 4:00 pm pacific time in (ten days) November 18, 2003. Any responses received a s a result of this notice of intent, shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competition. Responses will NOT be considered as either proposals or bids. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition, based upon the written responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received by the above date, a sole source contract with John O. Koenig will be pursued.
