- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR, Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice constitutes the only Request for Proposal (RFP); proposals are being requested. The RFP document and contract incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-18 (Final, 7 Aug 00) and 97-19 (Initial, Effective 26 Jul 00). This acquisition is a Small Business set-aside; the government requires the contractor to provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to construct and install a combination of push back racking and selective rack for existing 80-FT x 175-FT prefabricated steel warehouse in accordance with drawings (See attached solicitation). The drawings will be presented to all contractors attending a site visit scheduled for NOV 13, 2003 at 10:00a.m. At the Defense Media Center, Building 2725, 6th Street, March ARB, CA 92518-2221. Contractors that plan to attend the site visit must contact Clare Mitchell at mitchcl@dodmedia.osd.mil by 3:00 p.s.t. 12 NOV 2003. The offeror?s proposal needs to include a proposed delivery schedule. Delivery location: Defense Media Center, Building 2725, 6th Street, March ARB, CA 92518-2221. Offerors shall include a complete copy of the provision at 52.212-3 with its offer. Award shall be based on the quote that provides the overall lowest price for all items that conforms to the drawings. Offerors shall be sent to Defense Media Center, Contracting, 1363 Z Street Building 2750, March ARB, CA 92518-2017 ATTN: Clare Mitchell no later than 3:00 p.s.t. on 24 NOV 2003.
