Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY TO PRE-QUALIFY VENDORS. THERE IS NOT A SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. THIS IS NOT A FORMAL REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The United States Senate Office of the Sergeant at Arms (SAA) is seeking qualified sources to provide uniforms for United States Senate Pages. REQUIREMENTS: 1) The Vendor must measure the Pages, alter, fit, and deliver the Page uniforms. Delivery is FOB Destination to the United States Senate, Washington, DC; 2) The Page uniforms for men and women consist of: Dark navy blue pantsuits, a solid color and without design (e.g. no pinstripes). The suit jacket must be single-breasted and buttoned. Suit material may be 100% wool, wool/polyester blend, or wool/polyester blend with 1% Lycra. Dress shirts, white, long-sleeve, tailored, traditional shirts with buttons up the front. Shirt material may be 100% cotton, or a cotton/polyester blend. Ties, plain, dark navy blue without design; 3) Estimated yearly quantities are 300 suit jackets, 450 suit pants, 750 shirts, and 300 ties. Responses to this sources sought request are due to the POC no later than November 21, 2003 at 2:00 EST. To respond you must provide the following: 1) General Information about your firm * Company Name: * Address: * Point of Contact Telephone Number E-mail address * GSA Schedule Number (if applicable) * DUNS Number * Tax ID Number; 2) A catalog and/or product literature; 3) Most recent published price list(s); 4) Past Performance, provide a list of three (3) contracts/purchase orders completed during the past two years for similar requirements with the following information: Name of contracting activity, contract number, contract type, total contract value, contracting office and telephone number. Qualified sources must provide their responses electronically via e-mail to Acquisitions@saa.senate.gov. Sources responding to this sources sought notice and deemed qualified by the SAA will be placed on a solicitation mailing list. The subject line of the email message should be ?2004-SSN-009 Senate Page Uniforms". If suitable responses are received from qualified sources, the SAA anticipates release of a solicitation in November 2003. Telephone requests for information will not be honored. The Senate or the SAA will not be responsible for any costs for the preparation of responses to this announcement. Requests for hard copies of this announcement will not be honored. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES THE ENTIRE SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT AND IS THE ONLY INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE SAA OR U.S. SENATE.
