Description

Contractor to conduct a study to develop a fact based analysis of the viability of introducing "Variable Pricing" to the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) stores as a pricing strategy. Offerors will need to have an understanding of retail grocery practices with an emphasis on pricing methodologies. The solicitation will be issued on or about November 18, 2003. A pre-proposal conference is tentatively scheduled for December 2, 2003 at DeCA Headquarters, 1300 E Ave., Fort Lee, Virginia 23801-1800. Written and Oral proposals will be required in the mid-December 2003 time period. A 45-day performance period will commence in early to mid January 2004. This solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis. This RFQ will be available on www.fedbizopps.gov under ODA (Other Defense Agencies). Potential Offerors are encouraged to use this web site to obtain a copy of the RFQ. Request for paper copies must be in writing and mailed or faxed (804-734-8669) to the above address Attn: CICDS (Chris Beck).
