Description

The Air Force intends to award a sole source contract to Axiam, Inc., 58 Blackburn Center, Gloucester, MA 01930-2271 for NON-PERSONAL SERVICES to furnish all labor, tools, parts, materials, services, transportation and incidentals necessary to provide Preventive and Remedial Maintenance on Axiam TF33 Smartstack Measuring Gauges at Tinker AFB, OK. The period of performance for one (1) Base Year and four (4) Option Years will commence on 16 APR 04 and complete on 15 APR 09. A Firm-Fixed Price type commercial contract is contemplated. The estimated award date is no later than 19 DEC 03. Central Contractor Registration is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at http://www.ccr.gov. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
