Description
NA This acquisition will be accomplished using simplified acquisition procedures IAW the FAR Part 13. The period of performance will be 1 Dec 03 thru 30 Nov 04. All contractors submitting any proposals to the Government must have a CAGE code and be register ed in the CCR. All proposals are due to be received in the contracting office by COB 26 Nov 03. In order to be considered, respondents must submit clear and convincing documentation of their capability within the time specified. The Government is lookin g for an Agency to assign officials for the following sporting events. 1. Basketball - Require two (2) Basketball Officials to officiate 84 season games plus 15 playoff games and one (1) Timekeeper and (1) Scorekeeper for 84 season basketball games plus 15 playoff games. 2. Softball - Require one (1) Softball Official to officiate 250 season games plus (2) Softball Officials for 32 playoff games. 3. Volleyball - Require two (2) Volleyball Offic ial to officiate 56 season games plus 15 playoff games. Provide Certified Sports officials for Basketball, Softball, and Volleyball. The officials must be certified through a nationally recognized organization such as NCAA, IAABO, ASA, or USA Volleyball. The contractor will provide a copy of proof of certific ation of each official to the COR before work is done. This certification will only need to be provided once if it will be valid throughout the time work will be performed. Agency must understand that they will not be paid if the game is cancelled, and t hey received a minimum of 1 day advance notice of the cancellation. In the event of inclement weather on the day of the game, the COR will be able to cancel on the same day of the game, and not be required to make payment. The COR will not pay officials that show up late for a game. The COR will not pay for officials that fail to show up for an assigned game.
