Description

Design/build project including all plant, labor, equipment and materials necessary to renovate existing buildings for military training purposes and provide site facilities for the location. The work necessary to complete the buildings so they are suitable for occupancy includes, but is not limited to, installation of light fixtures, ceiling fans, air-conditioning split units, electrical outlets and panel boses; installation of sinks, urinals, toilets, showers and kitchen sinbk units; installation of doors and windows, including hardware; painting of walls; installation of floor tiles. This work also includes streetlights and connection to the same electrical power grid, water treatment system, and wastewater collection system from the Tadji Phase I project currently under construction. The estimated price range for this project is $25,000,000 to $100,000,000 and will be performed at Tadji Military Base in Iraq, located just north of Baghdad. The tentative date for issuing the RFP is 26 Nov 03 with an RFP closing date of approximately 25 Dec 03. The project will be completed in phases with a project completion date of 15 Mar 03. Plans and drawings will be available at the site visit to be conducted approximately seven days after release of RFP. There are no cost associated with the RFP or plans.
