Description: NA The US Army Communications Electronics Command (CECOM) Acquisition Center Washington on behalf of PM Close Combat Systems and the Night Vision Electronic Sensors Directorate proposes a follow-on Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity acquisition with Scie ntific System Company, Inc., a small business in Woburn MA, to conduct mine detection analysis in support of countermine and mine neutralization programs, such as Ground Standoff Mine Detection System (GSTAMIDS), Handheld Standoff Mine Detection System (HS TAMIDS), Autonomous Mine Detection System (AMDS) and Humanitarian Demining Programs. This proposed sole source acquisition is follow-on to effort performed by Scientific System Company, Inc, under contract DAAB15-00-D-1005 and will be negotiated and award ed under the authority of other than full and open competition FAR 6.302-1. As part of this effort the contractor may work with other contractors or academia to conduct data analysis, algorithm development, test support, program support and training, and to provide recommendations for system improvements.
