- NAICS Code: 541330. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego, intends to award a time and materials type contract to DMP Services, 2038 Vista Hermosa Way, El Cajon, CA 92019. The procurement will be conducted using other than full and open competition pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. The contractor shall provide operational and technical expertise and consulting and design assistance on technology development approaches, hardware design, operational usage, and evaluation issues related to several, ongoing radiation monitoring projects, including the advanced development phase of the Radiation Indication And Computation (RADIAC) Program. The proposed contract will continue work provided by DMP Services under Purchase Order N66001-03-M-C030, awarded 18 March 2003. Under this order, DMP Services has been providing engineering design, evaluation, and operational analysis support for several radiological monitoring programs, including the RADIAC Program. The technology involved in these programs is both developing and unique to Navy and Homeland Security applications. Based on their experience, DMP Services has acquired the detailed insight and knowledge needed to characterize specific program design goals and processes, and are the only contractor with the necessary knowledge of the system to provide the continued support necessary to meet program requirements. The anticipated period of performance for proposed requirement is a one year base period and a one year option period, each with an estimated level of effort of 2,000 labor hours. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. See numbered notes 22 and 26.
