- Description
- The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) intends to enter into negotiations on a sole-source basis with the Van Heyst Group, Inc., 845 Walnut Street, Boulder, CO 80302 for expert-level issue-driven roundtable planning, implementing, conducting and reporting. The purpose of the roundtable is to conduct exploratory and collaborative investigations into strategies and initiatives aimed at ameliorating government dependencies on commercial information technologies by aligning government product use cycles with industry support cycles. This acquisition shall include all actions necessary to plan and prepare the event; such as, planning and content strategy; speaker research, recruitment and delivery; program audience research, recruitment and selection; registration and event correspondence; location and logistics research and management. This synopsis is a notice of intent to issue an award under other than full and open competition and should not be considered a request for competitive proposals. The determination of the Government not to open subject requirement to full and open competition was made in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and is solely at the discretion of the Government.
