Description
The Employee Education System (EES) intends to negotiate with The Hyatt Regency St. Louis, One St. Louis Union Station, St. Louis MO 63103 on a sole source basis for the acquisition of meeting rooms, refreshments, etc. for the All EES Staff Conference to be held on March 22-26, 2004. To limit the travel expenses of the Employee Education System participants, the St. Louis downtown area is preferred as the conference site location. An estimated 350 individuals will be attending the All EES Staff Conference. EES will require approximately 250 sleeping rooms for the period March 22-26, 2004, at the prevailing Government rate. A general session room accommodating approximately 350 individuals and 10 breakout rooms holding approximately 30 people each will also be required. An exhibit area for approximately 30 (8x10) exhibit booths is required. Light refreshments for morning and afternoon breaks will be required. The dates of the All EES Conference are restricted to March 22-26, 2004 in order to accommodate the EES CLO_s schedule. EES has researched numerous hotels in the St. Louis area based on the requirements specified above. No other source is known to EES that is capable of supplying the required sleeping rooms and meeting space for the given timeframe. Any source submitting a written response to this synopsis shall include sufficient documentation to establish a bonafide capability to fulfill the requirement and must be compliant with the Hotel and Motel Fire Safety Act (provide FEMA number) and the Americans with Disabilities Act. NO DOCUMENTS AVAILABLE. Any written and/or verbal requests for copies of a solicitation relating to this announcement will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by EES not to compete this requirement based on any responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of EES. Any information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for any information received. If you have any questions regarding this announcement, please contact Lila Meinhardt at 314-894-5791.
