Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue four Firm Fixed Priced delivery orders under NAVAIR Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) Number N00019-03-G-0018 for the purchase of LAU-7D/A kits for the Navy and FMS customers. NAVAIR intends to negotiate these orders on a sole source basis with Marvin Engineering Co., Inc. 260 West Beach Avenue, Inglewood, CA 90302. Marvin Engineering is the only qualified manufacturer of the LAU-7D/A launcher kits. There is no other qualified manufacturer with a production line up and running to perform this effort within the time required to meet fleet and FMS needs. See Numbered Note 22.
