Description
Provide all labor, material, equipment and transportation necessary to install a 100 KW Emergency Generator at Station Chetco River, Harbor, OR. The work includes but is not limited to the following: (A) Install a pad mounted, 100 KW, Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) diesel emergency generator (E/G); (B) Provide trench for new Underground and indoors electrical distribution; (C) Modify interior wiring including new electrical panels; (D) Provide 10 ton crane lifter to place the new GFE Gen-set onto the concrete; (E) Provide operational temporary power during scheduled commercial power outage; (F) Complete all wiring interconnections between existing commercial power source to the Cover Moorings, a new junction tap box, and the new automatic transfer switch panel located inside the (GFE) diesel Gen-set enclosure, and back to a new distribution panel ?E Panel? at the Cover Mooring, using new conductors; (G) Complete all wiring interconnections between the existing sewage lift station and the new automatic transfer switch panel located inside the (GFE) diesel Gen-set enclosure and back to the existing sewage lift station.; (H) Complete all wiring interconnections between existing commercial power source to the Equipment building and Berthing building, a new Junction Tap box, and the new automatic transfer switch panel located inside the (GFE) diesel Gen-set distribution panel at the Equipment building and Berthing building, using existing conductors and raceways whenever possible; (I) All the Gen-set housing interior installations will be by the Government Furnish Equipment (GFE) supplier who will also provide start up and conduct testing of the Gen-set. Except that the incoming and outgoing power lined to and from the Gen-set housing will be by the installer contractor. The period of performance is 60 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. This procurement is estimated between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00 and is set-aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 238210. Size Standards is $12.0. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Our office no longer issues solicitation or amendments in paper form. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will be posted solely on this website. This solicitation can be downloaded from the http://www.eps.gov on approximately 01 December 2003. If it does not appear on that day, please check back daily. The due dates for bids will be approximately 6 January 2004. This date is estimated and may change. For security reasons all Coast Guard drawings are only available through the Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDS), which will have a separate link on the FedBizOpps web page, identified as Technical Data Package. Offerors will need to register with FedTeDS and receive a user name and password to be able to download Coast Guard drawings. All responsible sources are encouraged to respond. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs)! The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
